Evaluating California's ADU Reforms with NYU Furman Center

The California ADU success story has been a model for other states working to enact statewide ADU law and improve affordability and inclusivity in their neighborhoods. For this special edition of our webinar series, we're pleased to invite Nicholas J. Marantz from the UC Irvine School of Social Ecology, one of the authors of a recent report from the NYU Furman Center, "Evaluating California's ADU Reforms: Preliminary Evidence and Lessons for State Governments," to share a summary of the report's findings and recommendations.

This report dispels common misconceptions about ADUs often heard from housing opponents. We're pleased to have the opportunity to share these very positive findings with our community of ADU advocates.
